"How would a pro gamer respond in this exact situation?" It's a question that comes up while playing, but finding the right game meant sitting through entire VODs. STARINFO is a StarCraft: Brood War build order search site built to solve exactly that problem. Games featuring players like Flash, Bisu, Jaedong, and Stork are catalogued by hand and tagged so you can search for the build or scenario you need.
The database currently has 3,032+ games. Freely combine race, build, situation, map, and player tags to instantly surface matching VODs. New games are tagged and added regularly.
Search by what builds both players used simultaneously. In mirror matchups, the outcome is a rock-paper-scissors dynamic — searching "my build vs. opponent's build" quickly narrows the game you're looking for.
You can also exclude strategies with minus tags (e.g. "-9 Hatch -111"), find games featuring specific units (Reaver, Carrier, Defiler, Battlecruiser), or find a player's off-race games. Want to watch the same game from the other side? Look for lectures tagged "Same game alternate POV."
All six matchups across Terran, Zerg, and Protoss (TvZ, TvP, PvZ, TvT, ZvZ, PvP) are searchable. Build matchups shift depending on the era and players involved, so pairing a matchup tag with a strategy tag gives more accurate results.
The same build can win or lose depending on the opponent's response, so we recommend using Advanced search to assign "my strategy" and "opponent's strategy" separately.
The simplest approach is to type a player name or build name directly into the search bar. Click matchup, strategy, map, and player tags in the left panel to combine filters — only lectures matching every selected tag will appear. Right-click (or long press) a tag to exclude it from results.
For more precise searches, enable Advanced search mode and drag tags into the Player A / Player B areas separately. This distinguishes your strategy from your opponent's — ideal for pinpointing a specific build matchup.
You can search games and replay analyses from Flash (Lee Young-ho), Bisu (Kim Taek-yong), Jaedong (Lee Je-dong), Stork (Song Byung-gu), and many other players who competed in the Pro League, ASL, and beyond.
Yes. Not just recent uploads — older lectures registered in the database also appear in search results. Games not yet registered are being added gradually.
Selecting just one matchup tag (e.g. TvZ) is enough to get started. Too many results? Add a strategy or player tag to narrow down. Too few? Remove a tag. Typing a build name directly into the search bar is also a quick option.
No problem — synonyms are recognized, so the same build under different names returns identical results. For example, "배럭더블", "배덥", "1 Rax FE", and "1 Rax Fast Expand" all refer to the same build and produce the same search results.
